Delete your SetSync account

Delete your account directly in SetSync, or email support if you cannot access the app. You do not need to reinstall SetSync to submit a request.

Before deleting

  • Account deletion is permanent.
  • Uninstalling SetSync alone does not delete your account or cloud data.
  • Preserve any information you want to keep before completing deletion.
  • SetSync has no paid subscription that needs to be cancelled.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open SetSync.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion warning.
  5. Complete the account confirmation shown: enter your SetSync password, or confirm through Google or Apple.
  6. Complete deletion.

Apple-linked accounts require Apple confirmation on a supported iOS device. The app requests revocation of SetSync's Apple sign-in authorization before deleting account data. If the required sign-in method is unavailable, request deletion by email below.

Enter your SetSync password only in its reauthentication screen, or use the Google or Apple confirmation prompt shown. Never send a password by email.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email setsyncworkout@gmail.com. Send the request from, or include, the email address connected to your SetSync account.

Do not send your password. To protect the account, the developer may reply and request additional non-password information to verify ownership. A verified request will be processed as soon as reasonably practical.

3. Data affected by deletion

The SetSync deletion process removes the Firebase Authentication account and user-scoped SetSync data connected to its Firebase user ID, including where applicable:

  • Authentication account
  • User profile and settings documents
  • App preferences
  • Workout sessions and history
  • Workout templates
  • Saved exercise names
  • Derived personal-record metadata
  • Body-weight entries and target-weight goal
  • Body measurements and their history
  • Calendar and activity markers
  • Other user-scoped SetSync data

4. Information that may remain temporarily

Some information may persist temporarily in Firebase or Google service-provider backups, security logs, or operational logs. Minimal support or deletion records may also be retained where reasonably needed to document and secure a completed request or meet legal obligations.

SetSync does not promise a specific backup-removal deadline because service-provider retention and independent legal requirements may apply.

5. Separate third-party services

Deleting a SetSync account does not delete a Google or Apple account, email-provider account, Ko-fi account, Stripe record, or any other separate third-party account or transaction record.

Optional Ko-fi support is external to SetSync and is not a SetSync subscription or in-app purchase.
